Crawling - It's Important |
| Crawling is a
vital stage in your child's development providing hours of
experience for future learning. It is not how
quickly they move past this stage that is important, but
how much they learn during it. |

| Creeping
(lifting his tummy and putting more weight on his hands
and knees) may not always last long, but is very important as
babies develop the muscle tone and coordinaton needed for
later walking. |

This requires new balancing skills, adjustment of visual
perception, and increased muscle tone in the legs.
Challenge them to creep up, down, over and under, through
and around to help give them confidence. |
